Spotlight on Madrid's flamenco biennal

Helsinki Flamenco Bienal collaborates with Bienal Flamenco Madrid. Thanks to this partnership, festivalgoers can enjoy Julio Ruiz’s work-in-progress performance “La Familia” free of charge. This multidisciplinary work combines flamenco, performance art, and literary expression. A deeply personal and artistic journey, the piece invites the audience to reflect on family dynamics, identity formation, and the emotional and inherited legacy passed from generation to generation.
